found a little acoustic in sitting by my neighbors dumpster!! it's an apartment's dumpster. i don't see how anyone could abandon such a thing.
it's just what i wanted though. it may be one of those crappy ones you give yer child on their birthday to 'learn guitar' but i don't care. it's little and fits in my arms easy and i'm going to write a lot more acoustic songs! excittttting.
last night i got a hug from kimya dawson and she was amazing. i love her to death. and Paul Baribeau!
last night was a good night.

i woke up early today because while dreaming i smiled too hard and i split my lip a tiny bit. kind of gross but kind of happy? luckily, i just bought good new lip balm yesterday so it healed fast. the thought of actually knowing for a fact that i smile while i'm asleep makes it worth it.
sunday's gig is paying us $200 and i think we might maybe each get TBA (time based art) passes!
school starts wednesday. since i changed my schedule i don't know who's in my classes. school makes me nervous.

today i borrowed two handfuls of cds and a couple of francesca lia block books that i plan to reread from the library. i also found myself a new favorite hobby: sewing ugly pretty stuffed animal dolls in my room while listening to twee music. i did other stuff too but those two parts were my favorite. i'm actually still werking on my first one, and it's not too pretty, but i love it anyway. someone came up to me today and started talking to me and mentioned what school i'm going to go to and i didn't know who they were. my memory sux. i'm going to miss lazy days all by myself when school starts and i'm going to be surrounded by annoying people in a crowded building.

NOTE: The quality of my pictures always gets kind of messed up once i resize them because i don't have any resizing programs on my computer so i have to use mytheme.com's crappy picture editor which makes the pictures kind of dotty or blurry sometimes.
also, the reason a lot of the pictures might look simular is because i couldn't move to another spot and my camera doesn't have zoom or anything like that on it.

Me and Georgia are thinking about starting a zine. mostly with photographs and stories to go with them possibly? and we want to have a section where people request photographs and we take them and put them in the zine. and prolly a section where people can send in their photographs and we will put them in too. i don't know, we haven't really discussed it.
can anyone give us any zine making advice? or ideas for it?
